Reina Hispanoamericana (RHA) Filipinas 2024 winner Dia Mate is currently in Bolivia to compete in this year's edition of the International finals.
During her send-off at the La Noire Boutique Club in Makati City, family and friends, including her MWP sister Sophia Bianca Sanotos and reigning queens of the ALV Pageant Circle - reigning Face of Beauty International winner Belle Bilasano and Miss Grand International 2024 1st runner-up CJ Opiaza, gave their well wishes to the dusky Caviteña.
"Dia is our first pageant winner to compete internationally in 2025. I'm so proud of her transformation. She's a total package with a pleasing personality," enthused national director Arnold Vegafria.
Crib Foundation, a haven for neglected abused children aged 7 to 17, as well as Music Therapy for mental illness, are two of the causes Dia is advocating for.
"I'm grateful for all the support. Thank for supporting me in my pageant journey," said the budding singer-songwriter. Dia is putting hard work in all her trainings.
Dia is the newest addition to the ALV Talent Cicuit. She is the agency's first talent for 2025. She has also published her first solo, titled "Ganda-Gandahan," under the Radical music label. She has also launched her second single before flying to Bolivia.
"The holidays did not affect my form as I was focused on my dieting, workout, and training," she added.
The RHA 2025vfi also began January 23, with the coronation night slated on Feb 9. The Philippines won its first RHA crown in 2017 with Teresita Ssen "Winwin" Marquez in 2017.
