 MUPh announces dates of preliminary contests

The Miss Universe Philippines (MUPh) organization, together with the Top 32 delegates, went on a tour around the province of Ilocos Sur. The four-day trip was through the invitation of Mayor Luis made "Chavit" Singson and Gov. Ryan Luis Singson, together with former Miss Universe judge Arch. Richelle Louise Singson-Michael. The provincial tour will culminate on April 23 in the New World Wonder city of Vigan for the National Costume competition shoot.

This will be followed by the Preliminary Interview at Okada Manila on April 25, with the Swimsuit and Evening Gown preliminary competitions in the same hotel, at the Cove Manila, on April 27.

Beautiful Destinations chief executive officer Jeremy Jauncey, boyfriend of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonso Wurtzbach, will runored to join reigning Miss Universe Haarnaz Sandhu on coronation night as members of the judging panel at the Mall of Asia Arena on April 30. However, he said he is here in the Philippines for an official engagement.

Aside from Bamboo and Sam Concepcion, other performers who will grace the final show are JM Bales, Arthur Nery, American Idol Season 18 finalist Francisco Martin, and fast-rising singing sensation Morissette Amon.

ABS-CBN will be the official digital streaming partner of the coronation night and the final show will be broadcast live for free on the iWantTFC and ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channels, as well as TFC channels in Filipino overseas communities. Those who will miss the live coverage can still watch the entire pageant through the GMA Rainbow network on May 1. Stay tuned!
