Beauty queen bids adieu

Despite winning Drag Race Philippines' second week's mini-challenge, multi-awarded beauty queen Corazon found herself at the bottom rung. After deliberations, following a lip-synch battle to Chona Cruz's "I'm Feeling Sexy Tonight," the 34-year-old entrant from Bolinao, Pangasinan was told to sashay away.
The week started on a high note, especially for Corazon, who breezed through the Palo Sebo challenge in 5.6 seconds, and received a Php 20,000 cash prize.
Being the winner of the mini-challenge, Corazon was given a 15-second leeway to gather materials for the main challenge - the Sagalamazon - wherein the queens were tasked to create their Flores de Mayo costumes, plus an arch.
Corazon was criticized by Jiggly Caliente for 'cheating' because she wore a garment underneath her costume which she brought into the show. The girls were instructed to create their Sagala costume out of the materials from the pile where they took them from.
On the other hand, Viñas De Luxe created a costume made mostly of branches and fronds but which had strong design elements, that was lauded by the jurors. As such, she won the week's design challenge and received not just the RuBadge and Php 80,000 but also a custom-made gown from juror Rajo Laurel!
The second week panel of jurors included mainstays KaladKaren and Jiggly Caliente, together with special celebrity judge Pokwang and fashion designer Rajo Laurel.

With Corazon's elimination, only ten queens remain to fight for the crown!
