Evening Gown preliminaries

Silver-trimmed creations abound in Miss Philippines Earth long gown competition

As Miss Philippines Earth celebrates its 25th year anniversary, all of its pre-pageant events are guided by its "Silver Lining" theme. So it came as no surprise that most of the evening gowns worn during the Long Gown competition bore the metallic hue of silver - either as predominant color or as accent/trimming.

After voted as "Darling of the Press," La Paz, Leyte delegate Angel Rose Campo Tambal won the gold medal as Best in Long Gown, wearing a be-ribboned Leo Almodal creation.

The Silver medal went to Athena Inocencio Lodevico of Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya while the bronze medal recipient was Liz Mabao of Antipolo City.

The last of the Talent competitions were held early this week. The pre-judging of the Beauty of Face, Figure & Form, on the other hand, will take place over the coming weekend.

The panel of judges for the Long Gown preliminaries were fashion designers Johnny Abad, Laura Santos, Edwin Uy, and Rafael Gonzalez, together with corporate executive Paul dela Cruz.

The Miss Philippines Earth 2025 coronation night will unfold on August 10 at The Cove in Okada Manila. Outgoing queen Irha Mel Alfeche, and her elemental court, will relinquish their titles to the new set of queens. Stay tuned!
