People Choice Award’s first Top 5 leaderboard bared

The Miss Universe Philippines organization, together with corporate sponsor Pina Beauty, announced the results for the first canvassing of the People’s Choice Award contenders.

In alphabetical order, the leaderboard is comprised of:

- Jencel Mansala Caina (Cavite)

- Charieze Lianne Cacayorin (Ilocos Norte – representing the Filipino Society of Hawaii)

- Lyneree Montero Yodong (Mountain Province)

- Alicia Chelsea Buendia (Rizal – representing the Filipino Society of Southern California), and

- Jayka Noelle Munsayac (San Jose, Negros Oriental – representing the Filipino Society of Washington)

The People’s Choice Award is important because it grants the winning delegates certain placements in the competition.

The Top 3 delegates with the highest Pina Beauty votes cast will automatically advance to the semifinals.

The delegate with the second highest number of votes will advance to the next cut, the Top 15.

While the delegate with the highest number of votes cast will automatically advance to the final cut, Top 7 - moving one step closer to the MUPh 2026 crown, a runner-up position, or be given one of the other titles from the Miss Philippines organization.

The Pina Beauty online poll will run until coronation night that will unfold on Labor Day, May 1st. Stay tuned!
