Limgas na Pangasinan to crown Gold queens for national pageants
By Earl D.C. Bracamonte
The Province of Pangasinan will select its representatives to the forthcoming pageants of Miss Grand Philippines, Mutya ng Pilipinas, and Miss World Philippines in their province-wide annual competition, Limgas na Pangasinan. The perennial pageant is the highlight of the provincial cultural showcase - the Pista’y Dayat festival.
“I hope every year we surprise you. Our candidates are the voices of their respective communities. They inspire other young girls and ladies who want to be like them. They will embody beauty, passion, and purpose,” enthused Provincial First Lady Maan Tuazon-Guico, honorary chairman of the Pista’y Dayat Festival 2026.
It is the 56th edition of the Limgas pageant, but, this year, they will be crowning its 50th winner – their Golden Queens – excluding the years without a pageant.
“After this 50th anniversary competition, we will be doing a rebranding in 2027,” continued Madame Maan, who said she’ll not preempt it with details, prematurely.
The 2026 official delegates, in chronological order, are:

“Ladies, make your town or city, and the whole province be very proud of you. Limgas na Pangasinan is a platform of empowerment for Pangasinense women,” encouraged First Lady Maan, who also sits as pageant committee chairman.
Reigning Face of Beauty International Nikki Buenafe is a proud alumna of the Limgas na Pangasinan search.
She won her international title in Taiwan as a back-to-back win that Jeane Isabelle Bilasano also won in 2024.
“Empowerment shows itself in many ways; like when women stand in front of an audience and say this is who I am – showing beauty beyond barriers,” intoned provincial tourism officer Ma. Luisa Amor Elduayan.
The 50th Limgas na Pangasinan pageant will unfold on April 24 in Lingayen, Pangasinan.
