 MUPh 2026 holds NatCos competition in Pangasinan

The Miss Universe Philippines (MUPh) organization sets the stage, once again, for a celebration of culture, creativity & craftsmanship, and Filipino identity.

The delegates will bring their respective stories to life in the National Costume competition that will unfold live from the Urdaneta City Cultural & Sports Auditorium in Pangasinan on April 16.

In the past, the National Costume competition shows were held in other parts of the country, notably in Vigan, Bohol, Leyte, and Sultan Kudarat. This year, the venue has moved to North Luzon.

To date, the Philippines has won the Best National Costume at Miss Universe in the years 1994 (Charlene Gonzales), 2019 (Gazini Ganados), 2023 (Michelle Marquez Dee), 2024 (Chelsea Manalo), and 2025 (Ma.Ahtisa Manalo).
