Anne de Mesa won the Miss Tourism Worldwide 2026 crown in Singapore recently. This is the second time the Philippines got the crown, after Zara Carbonell won in 2018.

During the preliminary events, Anne was also proclaimed as Best in National Costume, Best in Evening Gown, and Miss Celebrity (as chosen by online voters).

“It’s a fast-paced competition where punctuality truly mattered, and with a format totally different from our usual pageants. The organization’s objective is to promote culture and tourism globally,” shared the certified public accountant, during her homecoming reception in Quezon City.

Her court is comprised of Kuma Ruth Ndain (1st runner-up, Cameroon); Gelli Meigas (2nd runner-up, Estonia); Milana Roothooft (3rd runner-up, Belgium); and Pakjira Kusolthipjaroen (4th runner-up, Thailand).

“There were 25 delegates, most of whom don’t know how to speak English. So we slowly learned each other’s languages through phrases so we could communicate,” she added.

Anne is the fifth winner of the Miss Tourism Worldwide crown, and the second Filipina to bring home the title.

Some of the queens to graced her homecoming were Universal Woman 2025 Jasmin Omay and Miss Supranational Philippines 2026 Katrina Llegado, who were both her sister queens from the Crown Initiative beauty camp.

During the closed-door interview, she told the panel of judges that, at this stage of her pageant journey, she deserves to have a crown of her own; and win she did!

“To all pageant aspirants, you’ll be rewarded if you don’t give up,” she advised.

As part of her tour of duty, Anne will fly to Indonesia soon for the coronation of next year’s Indonesian representative.

Anne’s victory is the first international title won by a representative from the ALV Pageant Circle, and for the Philippines this 2026.
