Filipino delegate departs for MGI All-Stars competition

Universal Woman 2025 Top 12 finalist Keylin Trajano departed from Manila today, May 16, en route to the Miss Grand International All-Stars pageant in Bangkok; just in time for arrivals and registration.
The ALV Pageant Circle organized a send-off at the Pandan Asian Café in Quezon City a day before her departure.
“An All-Star queen has the ability to gravitate towards everyone around her. She’s a chameleon, and her stars shine not on their own but with others,” shared the Mass Communications graduate.
“I’m grateful to everyone in the media. In school, we were taught that media delivers important information to the masses. Without them, Papa Nawat and my sister queens would not have heard of me,” she added.
The delegates will each receive their official sashes on May 20.
“I’m grateful to everyone because this is a collective fight. When the MGI All-Stars came out, it gave me and my sister queens a platform to use our voices. Win or lose, we will all raise our respective flags.
“The Philippines is worth representing, no matter the present circumstances, because it is the time for us to focus on the believers and not on the naysayers,” said the equal rights advocate.
When asked what aspect of the competition she prepared for the most, and she said it was her outfits that were all created for her by Filipino fashion designers. She said that her seven pieces of luggage contain at least 120 changes of apparel!
“A community does not only address particular sectors, but it talks of the whole and all the issues they face. Thus, we should not marginalize a particular sect. Like an anthill, as long as the queen survives, the army lives on.
“What makes a beauty queen matter is what she does after her coronation and how she commits to her causes and takes action for its fruition,” enthused Keylin.
Aside from Keylin, other Filipino queens competing in the same pageant include Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2019 Gazini Ganados, Miss International Queen 2022 Fuchsia Ravena, Miss Philippines Earth 2016 Imelda Schweighart, and Noble Queen of the Universe 2025 Alexa Nuñez.
“There are 15 to 18 trans queens in the pageant. To be part of the lineup is already something. An All-Stars queen must be culturally fit to work with the organization and must be willing to work with everyone,” she said in closing.
The grand finale of the inaugural edition of MGI All-Stars will unfold on May 30 in Bangkok, Thailand.
