 Mutya ng Pilipinas formally opens 2026 pageant edition

The Mutya ng Pilipinas (MNP) organization has opened the acceptance of applications for its 2026 pageant edition.

“This is our 58th Season leading to our 60th anniversary in 2028. This year, we plan to have 40 delegates, including our regional and overseas representatives. Our pre-pageant calendar will run for 12 to 13 days. We are steadfast in keeping the Mutya legacy,” shared MNP president Cory Quirino.

“And this will be an exciting year because we will be partnering with Mercedes Benz,” she added.

Interested applicants must be guided by the following requirements. They must be:

- Natural born female

- Of Filipino ancestry, with at least one parent in the direct maternal or paternal line with Philippine citizenship

- Present proof of Filipino ancestry with a certified true copy of birth certificate of either parent

- At least 18 to 27 years old but not more than 28 years old on Oct 14, 2026, the date of the national finals

- Present a copy of her high school or college diploma

- Possess a pleasing personality, beauty of face & figure, and be physically fit

- Single, never been married, has never given birth nor been pregnant

- Must have a defined personal advocacy

- Must have a valid national police clearance to verify the non-existence of pending or active criminal cases

- Present a certification of good moral character issued by her school, church, or professional organization, and

- Present a health clearance from a physician for physical and mental fitness

The deadline for the submission of applications will be on Sept 28 and the final screening will happen on Sept 30, 7 am, at the CWC Design Center in Makati City. 

The 2026 Mutya ng Pilipinas coronation night will unfold on Oct 14 at the Playtime FilOil Center in San Juan City. Stay tuned!
