World Toilet Day

In support of global sanitation

Unilever Homecare Group (UHG) and its brand Domex, will help educate Filipinos on developing the habit of proper toilet sanitation to prevent diseases. As the leading and most trusted multipurpose cleaner in the world, Domex has shown their active support to promote better toilet sanitation for the World Toilet Day with their One Million Toilets Movement. This campaign aims to encourage Filipinos to increase their awareness on the importance of maintaining a clean and germ-free toilet.

Organizers are taking this advocacy a step further by solidifying partnerships with the Department of Health, the Philippine Public Health Association, and UNICEF, wherein for every bottle of Domex, P5.00 goes to the UNICEF Sanitation program, that will help build one million clean toilets in areas where proper toilet sanitation is inaccessible.

To help magnify the campaign and create a much bigger impact to society on World Toilet Day, proponents celebrated on All Souls’ Day Domex’s partnership with chosen social media influencers to help spread awareness on disease prevention, encouraging Web-based followers to practice the habit of the proper way of cleaning their household toilets, and support the One Million Clean Toilets Movement.
