The Queen City of the South plays host/venue as Best Magazine, through its Cebu City organizer Ms. Aida M. Patana, will be honoring the forty awardees from the Visayas and Mindanao regions for the 2021 Philippine Empowered Men & Women of the Year in the coming month of May.

Twenty outstanding men and twenty equally outstanding women will fill the roster of this pioneering batch of honorees. The forty awardees will be chosen based on their track record – either from their calling or practice of profession – as well as the various causes and/or concerns that they support and/or espouse.

“A person’s inspiring life, successful career path, the will to serve other people, and the society at large, are factors to be considered in choosing our forty awardees for the South, covering the entire regions of Visayas and Mindanao,” said Best magazine publisher and chairman of the screening committee Richard Hinola.

The Philippine Empowered Men & Women of the Year 2021 (Vis/Min Edition) is the southern counterpart of the same awarding ceremony in Metro Manila that unfolds annually.

For nominations, simply submit a prospective awardee’s curriculum vitae or achievement brief to richardhinola@yahoo.com. You may also get in touch with Best Magazine through mobile nos. 0917-6185544 (Globe) and/or 0908-5559850 (Smart).

The deadline for submission of nominated entries will be on the midnight of March 31, 2021.
