 MUPh calls for applicants to its 2023 pageant

With Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Silvia Celeste Rabimbi Cortesi's return to the country, sporting a new haircut and coif, also comes the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPh) Organization's invitation for hopefuls to file their applications for this year's national pageant, albeit is a somewhat quiet manner compared to it's past blitz filled with pomp and funfare.

The country's longest semifinal streak at twelve (from 2010 to 2021) has been ended in the recently concluded 71st Miss Universe edition in New Orleans, Louisiana when the Philippines failed to make it to the Top 16.

In a social media post on Instagram, the MUPh wrote, "Are you the one from the crown? Being a queen doesn't stop with the beauty that is seen with the naked eye. It takes commitment, determination, and most importantly, it takes heart. Send your applications now."
