Top 3 fan-voted aspirants automatically joins Final 30

In a Facebook post - Save 3 For The Final 30, the Miss Universe Philippines organization wrote, "the top 3 with the highest number of votes automatically advanced to the Final 30."

This means, since three spots were already pre-filled by the online poll winners (Maureen Christa Wroblewitz, Kirsten Danielle Delavin, and Steffi Rose Aberasturi), only the 27 highest scoring aspirants from all the five challenges (headshot, intro video, runway, casting video, and interview) made it to the Final 30.

In a moment of pure nostalgia, on August 20, the Miss Universe organization, through its Twitter account, made a greeting to its first titleholder, Armi Kuusela of Finland, on the occasion of her natal anniversary.

After winning the Miss Universe 1952 title, Armi Kuusela married Filipino millionaire Virgilio Hilario. Through a legislative act, Kuusela was granted an honorary Filipino citizenship, thereafter. In 1996, however, she was also granted a US citizenship and has since resided there. Armi is truly a citizen of the universe!

The Miss Universe Philippines organization successfully rolled out the last challenge and in a few days, the official Top 30 aspirants will be arriving at their official residence for the duration of the pageant finals. By this time next week, the Final 30 will have undergone some of the events and activities lined up in the MUPh calendar, prior to the preliminary competitions.
