 Miss Universe Philippines 2024 preliminaries date set

The Miss Universe Philippines Organization announced that the date of its preliminary competition would be this Sunday, May 19. The prelims will rate all 53 candidates in the swimsuit and evening gown categories.

The highest scoring delegates will move forward to the semifinal round. Included in the semifinalists are the top winners of the various challenges leading to the final show; such as the swimwear, runway, interview, and casting reel, to name a few.

This is the very moment where all the hopefuls bring their A-game before the selection committee, after months (even years) of preparation. Failure of a delegate to impress the judging panel could ruin her chances of placing in the competition. It's the make or break moment for all the aspirants, especially the favorites and frontrunners.

In a social media post, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization wrote, "Pilipinas, who will rise to the top of the 2024 Miss Universe Philippines preliminary competition?"

To be hosted by outgoing titleholder Michelle Marquez Dee and actor Marco Gumabao, the 2024 Miss Universe Philippines preliminary competition and gala night happens at the Champagne Room of the Manila Hotel on May 19 at 7 in the evening.
