 Brother Barangay joint project awards 2024 float winners

Six float entries were selected as 2024 winners in the recently concluded Grandiosa Ekstrabaganza annual fiesta parade in Brgy. Mauway, Mandaluyong City.

Entry #14 from Purok 3 Homeowners & Residents Association was chosen as Best Float.

Entry #34 from Gueventville II was declared as 1st runner-up, while Entry #30 from Block 3 Mauway Neighborhood Association was proclaimed as 2nd runner-up. 

Moreover, Entry #34 was likewise hailed as Best in Grandiosa Float for its Egyptian themed ensemble.

On the other hand, two entries were declared as 1st runners-up. These were Entry #30 of Block 3 of Mauway Neighborhood Association and Entry #14 of Purok 3 Homeowners & Residents Associarion, while Entry #28 from the NCMH Housing Neighborhood Association was awarded as 2nd runner-up. 

Grandiosa sa Kapatid na Barangay is a joint project of adjacent Mandaluyong barangays of #BrotherBarangay through the initiative of Mauway barangay chairman Froilo A. Evangelista and his council members, together with Pleasant Hills barangay chairman Renz V. Evangelista and his councilmen, as well as SK chairman Tatiana A. Resales and her council members.

Grandiosa in Brother Barangay Ekstrabaganza is celebrated annually during the Feast of the Lady of the Miraculous Medal.

This year, 34 floats with their respective muses participated in the civic parade.
