 Reading blood pressure more accurately

Before the advent of digital devices, attending physicians or nurses read blood pressure with the help of a sphygmomanometer. Today systolic and diastolic levels are easily read by digital devices like Omron.

Recently, Omron launched their new ambassador through a media luncheon at the Santan Room of the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel. Simply dubbed "Sigurado na si Jolina," the lunch event introduced singer-actor and TV host Jolina Magdangal as the brand's new spokesperson. 

"We were looking for celebrities aligned with our goal of empowered healthcare, and Jolina fitted the bill perfectly," shared Omron Healthcare Philippine general manager Benjamin Agbulos.

It is anchored on the 'Be Sure' campaign that's designed to empower families to prioritize health monitoring as an integral part of our daily lives, like in risk prevention as well as a vanguard to cardiovascular wellbeing.

Jolina is part of the ongoing Netflix series "Lavender Fields," where she plays the role of Lily. "It's been nine years since I've done my last soap opera. Next year marks the 25th anniversary of the well-loved Marvin Agustin & Jolina Magdangal loveteam. Director J.P. Habac is currently in the works for our new film "Ex Ex-Lovers" in time for Valentine season.
