Taiwan Excellence sets up mentorship program to help contest finalists
By Earl D.C. Bracamonte
After receiving 638 proposals from 55 countries last year, Season 2 of the Go Healthy with Taiwan campaign raises the ante by creating a mentorship program for the Top 20 qualifiers. The said move pairs the semi-finalists with industry experts so as to turn their innovative ideas into practical solutions, while inviting more innovators worldwide to join the competition.
Go Healthy with Taiwan 2026 launches the new mentorship program to turn bold health ideas into market-ready solutions.
The contest accepts proposals from innovators, start ups, researchers, institutions, and organizations from all over the world. Submitted proposals must leverage Taiwanese products, technology, or business models to develop scalable health and wellness solutions.
Organized the Taiwan International Trade Adminisfration (TITA) with the Ministry of Economic Affairs Taiwan, this campaign is implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and is centered on the theme, “Designing Healthier Futures Together.”
The aim of the mentorship program is to refine business models, validate market opportunities, accelerate commercialization, and strengthen international partnerships.
Last year’s main winner from Ukraine successfully deployed Taiwanese medical equipment in healthcare facilities, and reinvested their prize money to expand equipment procurement and hospital donations.
Interested parties can fill out the forms via https://bit.ly/GoHealthywithTaiwan2026PH. Proposals must be submitted in English and should outline the proposed solution, its expected impact, and how it integrates Taiwanese products, technology, service, or business models. Submissions will be evaluated based on a predetermined judging criteria. Once submitted, an application cannot be modified.
The deadline for the submission of ideas and/or concepts is on August 1, 2026. The Top 3 proposals will each receive US $ 30,000 as cash prize, aside from the money to fund the project! For more information, simply check out the Web site, http://gohealthy.taiwanexcellence.org.
