MUPh announced 'body beautiful' winners

The Miss Universe Philippines (MUPh) organization announced the Top 3 winners of its Swimsuit Challenge. Ma. Katrina Llegado of Taguig bested 49 other entries. The two other spots went to Michelle Marquez Dee of Makati and Celeste Cortesi of Pasay. The three winners all come from Metro Manila, and have competed in their respective international pageants before - Llegado for Reina Hispanoamericana, Dee for Miss World, and Cortesi for Miss Earth.

Kumu also announced the winners of its Livestream and Follower Sprint challenges. Jeanne Nicci Orcena of Davao del Norte won the former challenge while Isabel Luche of Mandaue City won the latter.

Should Orcena not make it to the Top 30, the delegate next in line, with the most number of likes/votes, will receive the prize of having her makeup artist of choice during the preliminaries. In the same vein, if Isabel does not make it to the Top 30, the delegate with the second highest number of followers will have her own Kumu room during the preliminaries.

Meanwhile, Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez announced the twist in the Fashion and Runway challenge. Unlike previous years, this year will showcase both the creativity of Filipino designers and the runway skills of the delegates. This particular challenge will be done in collaboration with ARTE Partylist and Bragais Shoes.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will unfold on April 30 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Stay tuned!
