 An illustrious career in media

Katherine Chloe Sinsuat de Castro, or simply 'Kat' to family and friends, is a journalist and TV personality who started her career with the ABS-CBN news bureau. She then dabbled in the travel show "Trip na Trip" as well as the magazine show "Swak na Swak." She also hosted episodes for her father's show, "Magandang Gabi, Bayan."

After her stint with the Kapamilya network, she worked as an undersecretary of the Department of Tourism, handling tourism advocacy and public affairs. Her government service continued when she sat as president and CEO of the IBC-13 TV channel.

Last year, she was named as general manager and board of director for People's Television channel 4 (PTV-4). She is one of the three children of kabayan Noli de Castro and Arlene Sinsuat. Kat is married to Eric Cruz, and is a proud Miriam College alumna.

In June 2016, she co-organized the DU30: One Love, One Nation thanksgiving party at the Cacao Crocodile Park in Davao City to celebrate the president's victory.
