Disaster resiliency advocate wins Miss Philippines Earth 2025

Joy Mayanne Barcoma of Bacoor City bested 35 other environmental guardians to emerge as the 25th Miss Philippines Earth titleholder. The Disaster Preparedness & Resilience advocate was crowned by outgoing queen Irha Mhel Alfeche. Joy was also named Miss Megaworld Hotels & Resorts.
Flordeliz Mabao of Antipolo City (Air), Angel Rose Campo Tambal of La Paz, Leyte (Water), Jaymie Strickland (Fire), and Kriezl Jane Torres of Talakag, Bukidnon (Ecotourism) were named members of the elemental court, in descending order.
The other delegates who made it to the Top 10 were Kate Gatpandan (Filipino Community- Rome, Italy), Austhrie Sanchez (Vigan, Ilocos Sur), Vanessa Cang (Zamboanga - West Coast), Keren Grace Siapno (Filipino Community - England), and Athena Inocencio Lodevico (Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya).
Joy, who won the Beauty with a Purpose project when she joined the Miss World Philippines in 2021, was predicted early on to be the Silver Edition winner for her eloquence.
She will be representing the Philippines in the Silver Edition of the forthcoming Miss Earth pageant slated on the last quarter of 2025.
