Makati Shangri-La Manila introduces 'The Picnic,' a big Sunday brunch of its three specialty restaurants - Shang Palace, Inagiku, and Sage Bespoke Grill - unfolding the day after April Fools.



Indulge in the next big family event this season as The Picnic brings together the best of the best dishes on April 2, from 11 in the morning 'til 3 in the afternoon.

“We are delighted to introduce this unique dining experience to our patrons. We want families to enjoy a picnic style brunch buffet specially curated by Makati Shangri-La’s international chefs,” said Andrew Zarzosa, executive assistant manager for Food & Beverage. “This will be a first for us and we promise a memorable brunch experience in Makati.”

Makati Shangri-La, Manila is not only well-known for its grandeur and elegance, but also for its culinary prowess and splendid service in every restaurant and bar, leaving each guest with more memories to take back home.

Located at the Mezzanine level of the hotel, there will be interactive food stations all around. It will be an amazing food journey that allows every guest to savor the best dishes with an excellent view of the hotel’s grand chandelier.

Experience the delight of Shang Palace’s signature dim sum such as delectable xiao long bao and hakaw plus other Cantonese favorites such as the rich Peking Duck, Sweet and Sour Pork, and Hot Prawn Salad.

Get a taste of Inagiku’s 18 years of authentic Japan cuisine featuring the richest noodles, tempura and a variety of the freshest sushi, whose ingredients hail from the Land of the Rising Sun.

And don’t forget to drop by Sage Bespoke Grill’s Butchery showcasing the finest meats of large proportions, char-grilled in the Josper plus charcuterie in a live station, sliced before your very eyes. Pair every meat with freshly made pasta and foie gras.

To top off every meal, guests are invited to visit Grandma’s Kitchen, a heartwarming corner which is reminiscent of a sweet old lady’s cottage filled with sweet confections in every cupboard and drawer.

Price begins at Php 2,800++ per person for a buffet with one free cocktail, 4,800++ with free flowing Moet et Chandon, and Php 14,888++ with free flowing Dom Perignon champagne.
