Dalia Varde Khattab

 More than just beginner's luck

Binibining Pilipinas 2025 1st runner-up Dalia Varde Khattab is a pageant newbie. Yet her first foray into pageantry was a successful one.

She has not experienced joining pageants in school, nor anywhere for that matter. Dalia went straight to a national competition. She screened, qualified, and, representing Las Piñas City, eventually won a runner-up position, aside from clinching the Best in Swimsuit award.

As a woman of Islam, practicing the Moslem faith, she said her preparation for the Binibini pageant was not different from how other girls prepared for their own journeys. She went through all the rigid training like all other aspirants.

Born and raised in Kuwait, this 21-year-old Filipina-Egyptian observed the annual Ramadan holiday as part of her faith. While being schooled in the Middle East, (and now in England), Dalia has also spent some of her student years at the Southville International School in Las Piñas City, where her grandparents live.

As a Star Magic artist, Dalia appeared in movies like "He's Into Her" and "2 Good 2 Be True," as well television series like "Pamilya Sagrado" and "Click Like Share."

Recently, Dalia joined her Binibini sisters in bringing joy and inspiration during a special charity event - Sparkling Hope - at the Gawad Kalinga - Julio Iglesias Araneta City Tanay (GK-JIACT) village in Sitio Gabihan, Brgy. Katyo, Tanay, Rizal.

She joined Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2025 Annabelle Mae McDonnell and Binibining Pilipinas International 2024 Myrna Esguerra in distributing 50 Sparkle bags filled with school supplies and the Karapat-Dapat Children's Rights book, while also spending the day interacting with the beneficiaries and children of the housing project.

Dalia is currently a senior Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Entrepreneurship, with the Du Montfort University in London. By the time she'll finish her contractual obligations with BPCI, she will have graduated from her college degree.
