Innervoices wows the bar crowd at Molito in Alabang
By Nico Erle Ciriaco
Halfway to its forthcoming Emerald Anniversary next year, pop rock band Innervoices continues its streak both online (through its increasing digital fan base) and offline (through its unstoppable gigs and performances all over the metro).
The latest of these shindigs is their well-received show at the swanky Bar IX in Alabang's Molito district - the new party place down South.
The Bar IX performance coincided with their official launch of their new songs, namely: "Shadows," "Saksi ang mga Tala," and "I'll Wait for You in the Rain."
Their latest rocording - "Shadows" - is a collaboration between UMG Philippines and Kalesa Entertainment, and currently playing on several digital music platforms. It is a haunting ballad of heartbreak and lingering memory. The ballad garnered the highest vote in the pre-Halloween Vibe.ph countdown.
They also launched their new Christmas song, in collaboration with Star Music, titled "Pasko sa Ating Puso. "
On the other hand, "Saksi ang mga Tala" is a modern kundiman where the stars play silent witnesses to an undying affection.
While "I'll Wait for You in the Rain" is a touching anthem of patience and resilience, in celebrating a love that endures many of life's storms.
The Bar IX crowd had a swell time grooving to the band's 80s/90s and New Wave tunes, as well as OPM rock hits from other Pinoy artists.
Catch any of Innervoices' other bar performances at Noctos in Quezon City, Bar 19 in Muntinlupa, and Hard Rock Café in Makati and Maison Mall, among many others.
