 Mutya ng Pilipinas Environment Int'l chosen as Darling of the Press in Intramuros event

The Miss Environment International Organization, through its host, the City of Manila, presented the official delegates of 2025 to members of the media at the Plaza Moriones, Fort Santiago inside the historic Walled City of Intramuros in Manila.

"For countries to grow, leadership and advocacy must go hand in hand. Protecring the environment is crucial. Climate action starts with ourselves," said Mache Torres Ackerman, member of the Climate Change Commission of the Philippines.

This year's roster of delegates include:

- Rina Nagaoka (Japan)

- Indi Joy Cathlyn Snel (Netherlands)

- Arianna Pantaleon (Philippines)

- Karina Iskanderova (Russia)

- Megan Guiry Olcina (Spain)

- Anastasiya Grafinia (Tatarstan)

- Rebecca Baptiste (Trinidad & Tobago)

Zvashe Jamal Maponga of Zimbabwe will be arriving on Nov 19 to join the other pre-pageant activities.

"As capital of the Philippines, Manila is the center of trade, commerce, and culture. This is our shared commitment to create a tangible impact for conservation and sustainable development," noted Crystal Bagatsing, head of Manila's Culture & Arts office.

At the close of the Press Presentation, Mutya ng Pilipinas Enviroment International 2024 Arianna Pantaleon was chosen as Darling of the Press, alongside runners-up Rina Nagaoka of Japan and Rebecca Baptiste of Trinidad & Tobago.

To be hosted by Andrew Wolfe, the 3rd Miss Environment International selection night unfolds on Nov 24 at tbe City of Dreams in Parañaque, Metro Manila. Outgoing queen Shannon Robinson from the Philippines will crown her successor. Stay tuned!
